Digital Media Content Coordinator

Job Description

A full-service postproduction company located in the heart of the Burbank Media District is looking for a Digital Media Content Coordinator to process and maintain client requests. The Digital Media Content Coordinator will be working from a variety of video source formats and creating different types of output files, confirm quality of deliverable files and digitally deliver to clients. Familiarity with the postproduction environment; digital encoding and digital delivery is mandatory.

Assist in the creation of Broadcast, Streaming, VOD, and other encoded files

Capture of Standard and High Definition video sources from tape-based assets

Use of video editing and encoding tools

Perform quality assurance tests of encoded files

Enter and update Metadata

Deliver encoded files via digital delivery

Other duties as assigned

Education Requirements

Proficient with Adobe Premiere/Final Cut X

Experience with SQL tables, web streaming, CMS andwebsite administration

Familiarity with Apple Compressor and Adobe Media Encoder

Critical eye and ear for quality assuranceof video and audio

Strongbackground in customer service with excellentwritten and verbal communication skills

Ability to work with minimal supervision and must be a team player

Excellent attention to detail

Good organizational and proof reading skills

Hands on experience with digital video transcoding

Experience with computertechnologies and support

Flexible to work overtime/on-call as needed.

Must be open to work weekend/graveyard shifts
