Dick Clark Productions (dcp), the world's largest producer and proprietor of televised live event entertainment programming, is seeking a Manager of Live Events to bring dcp content to life by producing world-class industry and consumer-facing events. In this role, you will support the VP, Events in executing dcp's vision and strategies, participating in every aspect of event production from ideation through post-event wrap. A deep knowledge and passion for media, music, and entertainment, as well as the technology and marketing tools to deliver successful events and content, are essential.
You will support the new dcp Live Events team, driving the creation and sale of bespoke experiential opportunities surrounding dcp's iconic tentpoles like the American Music Awards, the Billboard Music Awards, the ACM Awards, New Year's Rockin' Eve, and the Golden Globes.

Day to Day Responsibilities
• Successfully produce a project or event from start to finish, from ideation and conception to execution. Simultaneously manage & execute multiple events of varying sizes at any one time.
• Develop and manage detailed proposals for events based on outlined needs, (e.g. timelines, venues, suppliers, premiums, collateral, staffing and budgets).
• Communicate and present professionally, effectively, and concisely to all levels within the organization
• Manage, track, and reconcile project budgets of $350,000 or less with oversight from the VP, Events
• Create detailed RFPs, manage review process, and own contract negotiation with vendors and partners.
• Analyze post-event data and ROI to measure success of executed initiatives
• Post-event tracking and ROI analysis to help measure the company's marketing initiatives and to optimize future performance.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure all necessary collateral is designed and produced with the project's strategic goals in mind, as defined at the onset of the planning process.
Required Skills
• 3-5 years directly related experience in event planning, ideally in the media-related industry
• Ability to work well both independently and collaboratively
• Extremely professional with a service-oriented mentality
• Ability to work with all levels in the organizational structure
• Strong negotiation and event management skills
• Strong ability to prioritize projects and initiatives
• Creative with an eye for design
• Extremely well organized, detailed oriented, and always works with integrity
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Keynote, etc.
As PMC values in-person collaboration and team cohesion, employees work onsite 4 days a week and 1 day remotely with a focus on maintaining a vibrant and inclusive culture.
Typical wage range: $80k - $95k. Factors that could be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, years of experience and comparison to current employees already in this role. The typical candidate is hired below midpoint of the range.
