Position Summary

We currently have a need for a Vice President, Product Management. This position is ideal for individuals who have the drive and desire to help grow a booming product team. It requires a highly motivated individual with attention to detail and a hunger to learn and solve problems. Deluxe recognizes that our investment in technology is crucial to the growth of the business, and as such we are hiring multiple roles for a growing product team.

Position Overview

The VP of Product Management will lead multiple product teams that envision and design custom enterprise software solutions for Deluxe and our Media and Entertainment clients. Part of the role requires growth strategy planning with our engineering leadership to help realize the goal of increased product throughput.

Main Duties will include:
• Drive product roadmap for our Mastering and Fulfillment LOB
• Partner with executive stakeholders across the company to deliver and evangelize a world-class media services platform
• Lead the business conversation in a cross-functional team to translate product, design, and business requirements into well-realized deliverables
• Thinking out of the box to come up with innovative product features and solutions that scale, are resilient, secure, maintainable, and elegant
• Participate in the end-to-end business strategy to ensure broader vision is achieved
• Report and discuss status updates to C-Level executives
• Set budget and define team expansion goals in an effort to grow throughput
• Collaborate across engineering and business disciplines to meet aggressive timelines
• Define, manage, and report on key performance indicators that measure team performance against organizational objectives
• Drive conversations around product/feature choices and communicate at varying levels of abstraction

Required Experience
• 3+ years experience with product leadership; 5+ years in product management
• Proficiency in product frameworks and a strong grasp of technical concepts
• Track record of cross-functional collaboration and execution to deliver successful enterprise and B2B products
• Proven experience growing product teams to achieve more throughput; hiring, mentoring and managing product managers
• Exceptional problem solving, teamwork, and leadership skills
• Experience using different development methodologies (agile, waterfall, scrumfall, etc)
• Demonstrated track record managing in multi-cultural environments, including working with and managing off-shore teams and working with team members across multiple time-zones
• Exceptional problem solving, teamwork, and leadership skills
• Excellent work ethics and communication skills – written, verbal and interpersonal

Desired Experience
• Experience working in the media industry, preferably with the digital media Supply Chain, including Production, Post-Production, Content Processing, Distribution, and OTT Marketplace
• Proven experience in building strong client/partner relationships
• Experience creating and maintaining a financial budget (Capital Expenditures & Operational Expenditures) for product initiatives
