Position Summary
Our post-production company is seeking a highly skilled VFX Supervisor to lead our VFX department. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in visual effects, with a proven track record of successfully leading a team of artists to deliver high-quality VFX work on-time and within budget. The VFX Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the VFX pipeline, from pre-production to final delivery, and ensuring that our team produces top-notch work that meets the client's expectations.

Role and Responsibilities
• Lead and manage a team of VFX artists, ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard and delivered on-time and within budget.
• Collaborate with the director, producers, and other departments to develop the visual effects plan for the project, and to ensure that the vision is executed to the highest standard.
• Collaborate with the VFX Production Manager preparing budgets, including bidding on new projects, forecasting costs, and managing expenses.
• Ensure that all VFX work meets the client's expectations and is delivered on-time and within budget.
• Oversee the creation of VFX assets, including 3D models, textures, and animations, and provide feedback and direction to the team to ensure that the assets are of the highest quality.
• Work with the pipeline team to identify and implement new VFX tools and workflows to improve efficiency and quality.
• Attend client meetings and reviews, and provide expert advice and guidance on all VFX-related matters.
• Ensure that all VFX work adheres to the company's standards and best practices.

Key Requirements
• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a VFX Supervisor in the film industry.
• Strong knowledge of visual effects software and tools, including Maya, Nuke, and Photoshop (Basic knowledge of Houdini is a plus).
• Proven track record of leading and managing a team of VFX artists.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients, directors, and other departments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Experience with budgeting and scheduling VFX work.
• Ability to provide feedback and direction to the team to ensure that the work is of the highest quality.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in VFX.
• Good level of English (B2 minimum)
