Job Description
Leading global entertainment brand Deadline, the authoritative source for breaking news in the entertainment industry, is looking for a skilled marketing coordinator to join its Los Angeles office. The candidate will work directly with the Director of Brand and will collaborate with interdepartmental stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Administrative
• Manage event distribution of Deadline's awards magazine
• Generate and assess quarterly email reports
• Research Industry and Competitor changes
Marketing / Project Management
• Assist in the development and coordination of annual Brand Partnerships
• Event Marketing – Promote brand tentpoles and as-sold events. Includes:
• Coordinate marketing efforts with all internal stakeholders
• Manage email announcements
• Track KPIs provided by Director of Brand
• Project manage Event Microsite development
• Support the Director of Brand in the creation of sales marketing materials
• Coordinate annual award submissions with the Director of Brand
• Marketing Swag – Research and supply Director of Brand with proposals for branded merchandise.
Qualifications
• Minimum 2 – 3 years' marketing experience at an agency, media company or entertainment company
• Experiences in project management / coordination
• Strong writing, editing skills and proof-reading skills
• Detail-oriented, focused on deadlines and strong organizational skills
• Ability to identify time sensitive needs
• Strong communication skills
• Proficient at creating and updating PowerPoint decks
• Skilled in Microsoft Office, G-Suite and Google Analytics/G4
• Familiar with SalesForce, Exact Target, Adobe Pro, Comscore and OneDrive
• Professional demeanor with media partners, vendors and internal stakeholders
• Passionate, adaptable, eager to learn and shows initiative
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently when needed
• Flexibility with work hours that may involve time outside the 9-to-5 weekday hours; off-shift work also required.
Nice to have
• Experience in InDesign and Canva
• Understanding of paid social campaigns
• Knowledge of Splash, Swoogo and Jira
• Trafficking ad creative
As PMC values in-person collaboration and team cohesion, employees work onsite 4 days a week and 1 day remotely with a focus on maintaining a vibrant and inclusive culture.
Salary range: $60K-$70K

The total compensation package for this position will also include other elements, a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits including 401(k) eligibility and paid time off benefits.
