Job Description
Deadline is seeking an Events Associate to join our team and contribute to the success of our signature events. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our Events Director and Senior Event Associate. To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should have a proven track record of event pre-planning, production, and execution. You should possess exceptional organizational skills, as you will be responsible for handling multiple projects simultaneously and working well under pressure. Additionally, we are seeking someone who is a positive team player and has a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:
• Managing event set up, break down, and serving as a point person during events
• Assisting in event planning, including general admin, billing, RSVP tracking, vendor communication, and contracts
• Collaborating with partners to collect necessary assets for invitations, event websites, and programs
• Overseeing the timely acquisition and delivery of all event materials, including video clips, title treatments, key art, press notes, and bios, video screeners and ensuring their distribution to the appropriate departments.
• Managing event inventory and ensuring all necessary products are shipped to the venue and returned after the event
• Assisting with live event production as it pertains to overseeing virtual event pre-tapes and live streaming event days as well as stage management during live, in-person events
• Coordinating travel arrangements as necessary

Requirements:
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in event planning, production, and operations
• Ability and willingness to travel, work evenings, and weekends as required
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to problem solve
• Works well under pressure
• Great at multi-tasking and handling multiple projects simultaneously

This position will pay $68,000. Factors that could be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, years of experience and comparison to current employees already in this role. The total compensation package for this position will also include other elements, a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits including 401(k) eligibility and paid time off benefits.
