The Job:

The CW Television Network is actively seeking a proactive Coordinator, Broadcast Standards & Practices to join our dedicated BS&P team. As the Coordinator of Broadcast Standards & Practice, you will serve as the central point of contact for the Broadcast department, providing essential administrative support to ensure the smooth operations of the department. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining compliance with broadcasting regulations, fostering a positive public image, and upholding the integrity of our content.

The Daily:
• Provide administrative support and coordination for the department, managing phones, maintaining files, reviewing fan mail, place supply orders, coordinate calendars, meetings, travel, expense reports, etc.
• Tracking all CW programming for coverage.
• Maintain department data bases (e.g. scripts, program content ratings, schedules, etc.).
• Track competitive programming for content and standards related issues
• Work on show coverages including Alternative, Daytime, Kids, and Scripted programming as requested
• Follow-up script coverage; ensure notes are executed
• Review rough cuts, final cuts and air masters as needed
• Back up for Commercial Clearance.

The Essentials:
• BA/BS degree preferred.
• 2+ years Previous Administrative experience required. Experience in Broadcast Standards preferred.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and tactfully with managers, affiliates, clients, and other levels of personnel
• Must be able to pay close attention to detail and understand written and oral instructions including the ability to apply standards and distinguish from personal beliefs
• Must be detail oriented and excellent organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and work well under time constraints in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work independently
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including overtime, if and when necessary

The Compensation
• $50- $60k/yr commensurate with experience and skill levels.
