The Job:

The CW Television Network is seeking a Brand Designer, Motion + Print to join our Brand Creative group. The role will be responsible for working across the print and motion teams from concept - to final executions. This position will tackle logos, keyart, brand design and motion storyboarding. An ideal candidate will have proven experience managing multiple projects and the ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced network environment.

The Daily:
• Dual Reports to Exec Director Print + Creative Director Motion Design.
• Create keyart for a variety of entertainment properties.
• Design frames and storyboards for motion.
• Design logos and title treatments.
• A solid grasp of brand design principles and a portfolio that reflects this.
• Build comps using the Adobe Creative Suite.
• Adapt Key Art into outdoor and/or digital campaign breakouts.
• Brainstorm/concept for photoshoot sketches.
• Provide design direction and support to other departments within our network.
• Review and participate in the finishing process for approved comps.
• Developing and presenting concepts and strategies
• Ensuring the consistency of brand identity across all platforms and channels
• Conducting and participating in brainstorming sessions

The Essentials:
• 4+ years' experience working in theatrical and/or television
• An exceptional portfolio displaying your innovative work
• Expertise with the Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong skills in photo manipulation, retouching, and typography
• Up to date in recent major entertainment campaigns
• Must have good conceptual skills
• A talent for wearing multiple brand hats and switching easily between properties
• Deadline-driven and ability to work in a competitive environment

The Compensation:
• $100 - $115/yr commensurate with experience and skill levels.
