Job Description

Well established and respected postproduction facility located in the heart of Hollywood and the Media district is expanding their operations. In search of detail-oriented applicants to perform technical evaluations of all incoming audio and video elements, identify issues and inconsistencies, and verify that end products align with required specifications. In addition to linear QC of content, the candidate will check incoming digital files for quality and compliance as well as coordinate receipt and transmission to internal media departments or outside processing facilities.

Applicants should have a basic understanding of digital media file types (video and audio) and a broad interest in Television and Movies.

Requirments

• The ability to complete linear review of digital video/audio files to required specifications
• Expertise knowledge of various a/v formats (Pro-Res, mp4, etc.)
• Understanding of timed-text formats and behavior (.scc, .itt, etc.)
• Evaluating the quality of and checking for errors in digital video/audio assets
• Familiarity with video testing and evaluation equipment
• Submitting reports based on findings
• Strong attention to detail, especially in evaluating workload/deadline projections at top level
• Abide by security policies
