Part Time Non-Union Talent Agent

Boutique talent agency in downtown Chicago seeks highly motivated individual for a Part-Time Non-Union Talent Agent position. Prior experience in the Entertainment field, at a talent agency, management, or casting agency is preferred but not required. The candidate should be passionate about artist representation and client negotiations.

An ideal candidate is seeking a part-time position long term as this individual will be joining a close-knit team and will be required to get a Talent Agent license after 90 days.

The position has flexible hours and days ranging from 12-20 hours per week (typically 10am to 2pm as an example). Typically this would be an in-office position, but to ensure the safety of our team, this will be remote initially until it is safe to return to the office. This requires candidates with the aptitude to work remotely. Training will be provided in a virtual setting. Must be a go-getter with a strong work ethic.

In addition to being organized and efficient, candidates with Social Media Management proficiency is preferred, as this position will consist of 90% Talent Agent duties and 10% Marketing/Social Media duties.

Requirements include: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite/Google Suite, with the ability to pay attention to detail, good communication skills, business acumen, and thoroughness.

Prior entertainment industry internships, experience in talent booking, Marketing, Sales, Hubspot, Mailchimp, Canva, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Weebly, Breakdown Express, and Casting Networks experience is a plus. Outgoing, energetic and focused.

Pay Structure: $13.50 per hour starting rate. There is a 90-day probationary period. At the end of the 90 days, the process starts for the Talent Agent license. Upon passing the exam, the pay rate will increase to $15 per hour.
