Jr. Media Encoding Engineer

Job Description

Well established and respected postproduction facility located in the heart of Hollywood and the Media district is expanding their operations. In search candidates to manage media transcode supply chain for all assets, both physical and digital. This includes ingesting, metadata tagging, validating, archiving, tracking, restoring and delivery of all media assets supporting our customer care department. Candidates must be detail-oriented with experience and knowledge of Digital Rapids (Imagine) and Imagine Zenium platforms.

Requirements:

• Must have strong verbal/ written communication skills
• Knowledge of media asset management systems and broadcast workflow
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, work independently, and be resourceful.
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while multitasking with attention to detail and accuracy
• Must be able to work effectively under daily time constraints in a face-paced and high-pressure work environment.
• Abide by security policies
