CNN is seeking a Senior Analyst within the growth analytics team to own the drivers-based business forecasting for our Streaming initiatives. This role requires both the technical expertise to build and automate granular forecasting systems and pair that with the understanding of how individual business initiatives can realistically drive bottom-line outcomes. This individual should be self-motivated, work well independently and as part of a team, and be passionate about what they do.
Your Role Accountabilities...
• Manage, own, and evolve a drivers-based forecasting model for Streaming subscription offerings.
• Develop and refine forecasting methodologies using best-in-class methods to model acquisition and retention behavior and estimate how those and other metrics will be impacted by key business initiatives.
• Partner with cross-functional teams such as Finance, Growth, and Strategy to align forecast assumptions with business strategy and operational plans.
• Build and maintain automated dashboards and reporting tools to communicate forecast outputs, trends, and insights to stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive business outcomes.
• Collaborate with data engineering and platform teams to ensure data pipelines and models have the appropriate granularity and business logic.
• Lead deep-dive analyses to understand deviations from forecast, uncover underlying drivers, and recommend corrective actions.
• Document and socialize key forecasting assumptions, methodologies, and definitions to ensure transparency and alignment across the organization.

Qualifications & Experience...
• 3+ years of experience in analytics.
• Significant experience using SQL to explore and analyze large data sets in cloud environments.
• Experience with data visualization and dashboarding tools such as Looker and Tableau.
• A proven track record of providing actionable insights that drive business impact in the form of revenue or profit.
• Logical mindset capable of making appropriate trade-offs between speed and analytical depth without sacrificing quality.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate, collaborate and influence cross-functional partners.
• Ability to deliver on multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally with all levels.
• Collaborative approach to partnership.
• Comfortable communicating with a diverse set of backgrounds, seniority levels, and knowledge sets, particularly in translating complex data concepts to strategic recommendations.
• A self-starter who is passionate about getting data, using data, making sense of data, and helping others benefit from making analytics driven decisions.
Nice To Haves...
• Experience building bottom-up forecasts.
• Experience unpacking gaps to forecast for business leaders in prior roles.
• BA/BS in statistics, mathematics, economics, or other quantitative discipline.
• Experience in Python or R.

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $75,390.00 - $140,010.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
