Your New Role...

We are looking for a Senior Producer to join CNN Domestic Programming in Atlanta, GA!

Your Role Accountabilities...
• Collaborating with the anchor and the executive producer to plan and execute the program.
• Helping the executive producer manage a team.
• Generating politically savvy rundowns with unique angles and relevant elements.
• Coordinating with the anchor and anchor producer to edit questions and segments, help the team in finding key elements from the day's news.
• Working hand in hand with the executive producer to ensure quality control of the program.
• Produce the show in breaking news situations.
• Futures planning with the editorial producer.

Your Qualifications & Experience...
• 6+ years of producing experience on a news show a must.
• Extensive knowledge of politics and current events.
• Control room proficiency, daily line producing experience a must.
• Field producing experience preferred.
• Four-year college degree or equivalent in proven industry experience.
• Ability to manage a team in breaking news situations.
• A strong editorial sense of what is ''breaking news'' and what are substantial developments.
• Must have the flexibility to work different shifts including evenings, overnights and weekends.
