Your New Role…

CNN seeks a talented Senior Producer to join the CNN 10am-12pm team!

Your Role Accountabilities…

Collaborating with the anchors and the executive producer to plan and execute the program. Helping the executive producer manage a team spread across two cities. Generating savvy rundowns with unique angles and relevant elements. Coordinating with the anchors and anchor producers to edit questions and segments, help the team in finding key elements from the day's news. Working hand in hand with the executive producer to ensure quality control of the program. Produce the show in breaking news situations. Futures planning with the editorial producer.

Your Qualifications & Experience…
• 6+ years of producing experience on a news show a must.
• Extensive knowledge of politics and current events.
• Control room proficiency, daily line producing experience a must.
• Four-year college degree or equivalent in proven industry experience.
• Ability to manage a team in breaking news situations.
• A strong editorial sense of what is political ''breaking news'' and what are substantial developments.
