Temporary Promotion Scheduler

The Job

This is a temporary position to support CNNE promotion placement team with promo execution of on-air logs.

The Daily
• Primary function is to strategically schedule promotional material on three of the CNN en Español networks-USA, Pan Lat-Am, and Mexico-- in order to meet all daily targets in regard to completing log print deadlines.
• Person is responsible for scheduling promotion in electronic promo scheduling data system (BMS/Enterprise) and maintaining cross-promotion commitments.
• This person will provide back-up and temporary support for other schedulers and will work closely with promotion teams and management.
• This scheduler will have daily communication with counterparts in Sales Operations, Master Control and Broadcast Engineering.

The Essentials
• College degree or equivalent experience of solid, television and promotion placement experience strongly preferred. Desirable qualities:
• Deep knowledge of promotion placement system such as Enterprise.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Highly motivated.
• Works well in both team and individual environments.
• Has ability to multitask and comprehend the "bigger picture".
• Must be extremely detail oriented.
• Knowledge of world events and how they impact our business is essential.
