Job Description
CNN is seeking an organized and proactive Project Manager to oversee all A/V campaigns in support of CNN's direct-to-consumer product. This role will work closely with the Project Managers for Design and Growth, optimizing processes and helping to bring successful campaigns to life. The Project Manager will collaborate with creative directors and writer/producers within the CNN Brand Marketing team to ensure seamless execution of A/V marketing initiatives.
Your Role Accountabilities…
• Campaign Oversight: Manage and oversee all A/V campaigns, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and timely delivery of campaign assets.
• Process Optimization: Work closely with the Project Managers for Design and Growth to optimize processes, streamline workflows, and enhance collaboration across teams.
• Collaboration: Partner with creative directors and writer/producers to support the development and execution of creative A/V content for marketing campaigns.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor campaign performance and provide insights to improve future initiatives, leveraging data-driven decision-making to enhance outcomes.
• Coverage: Serve as backup for Marketing/Project Managers during their absences. Utilize internal system for booking post-production resources as needed. Assign projects to Designers.
• Project Planning: Proactively prepare for upcoming projects, schedule kick off calls with all essential employees while effectively accommodating all last-minute deadlines and quick turn projects ensuring on time and on budget delivery.
• Project Coordination: Coordinate project timelines, resources, and deliverables, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and aligned throughout the campaign lifecycle.
Qualifications & Experience...
• 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in a media or marketing environment.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
• Ability to work independently, collaboratively, and responsibly in a fast-paced news environment. Needs to be self-starter.
• Agency or post house experience a plus.
• Familiarity with A/V production processes and digital media tools.
• Proficiency in Airtable and other project management software and tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Media, or a related field.
