The Job

CNN Films brings distinguished and thought-provoking documentary programming to audiences on CNN's linear channels as well as CNN+. The Production Assistant will assist the rest of the CNN Films team in the day-to-day management of the department. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Lead in maintaining and organizing all pitch, acquisition and tracking logs.
• Coordinate accreditation, transportation, and accommodations for film festivals.
• Write coverage for acquisition submissions.
• Research articles and IP.

The Daily
• The successful candidate will lead in maintaining and organizing all pitch, acquisition and tracking logs.
• Coordinate accreditation, transportation, and accommodations for film festivals. The Production Assistant will be in close contact with various film festivals as well as directors, producers, and documentary subjects to arrange travel ect.
• Review and write coverage for select acquisition submissions.
• Research articles and IP for internal development.

The Essentials
• 1-2 years work experience full time/internships
