The Producer I will be responsible for supporting the International Content Unit. The Producer I will help manage the CNN Fast Channel, CNN Max initiatives, and will create content for CNN International and the platforms it feeds into. The Producer I will also be responsible for coordinating the technical elements of on-air segments for anchors, reporters and guests during live programming, when required.
Your Role Accountabilities...
Writing scripts and packages, and creating additional content.
Supporting management of CNN Fast content.
Supporting management of CNN Max initiatives.
• Booking cameras for anchors, assigning and coordinating ifb's/pl's, relaying last minute information to field teams.
• Working with the international desk to make sure reporters are available as scheduled.
• Communicating anchor and elements to reporters.
• May also be required to build and execute show rundowns, liaising with show teams, the international desk, and planning producers.
• Have a full understanding of the editorial direction that the network is taking on a daily basis.
• ** Must be willing to work any shift including weekends and overnights**

Qualifications & Experience...
• Must have basic broadcast production skills
• Experience in a control room and work well under deadline pressure.
• Have a passion for international news.
• Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
