Job Description

CNN International Seeks a Producer II to join the team in Atlanta.

Your Role Accountabilities…
• Liaise with supervisors, anchors and newsgathering colleagues to deliver strong, live newscasts.
Be across key video and sound to call elements during shows
• Work with guest planners on focused segments;
• Coordinate with copy editors on writing assignments;
• Have a keen sense of show time, and demonstrate responsibility in placing sponsored content where required.
• Must be comfortable working in high-pressure breaking news situations and demonstrate proficiency in communicating with their anchor and team during such events.

Qualifications & Experience…
• Minimum of two years of experience line-producing network programming and must have demonstrated the ability to build thoughtful rundowns independently.
• Candidates also must have the ability to write copy quickly and have a strong knowledge of font codes and procedures.
• Candidates should possess a demonstrated interest in international news.
• Must be willing to work any shift including weekends and overnights.
