Job Description

The CNN International Producer I is a vital link between newsroom show teams and our correspondent teams in the field. Producer I is responsible for coordinating the technical elements of on-air segments for anchors, reporters, and guests.
Your Role Accountabilities…
• Booking cameras for anchors, assigning and coordinating ifb's/pl's, relaying last minute information to field teams, and working with the international desk to make sure reporters and guests are available as scheduled.
• Communicating anchor introductions/questions and elements to reporters.
• Producer I's may also be required to build and execute show rundowns, liaising with show teams, the international desk, and planning producers.
• Building compelling segments with strongest and freshest elements

Qualifications & Experience…
• Bachelor's degree in Journalism or related discipline or equivalent in experience.
• 3+ years' experience in journalism or related field
• Passion for international current events
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work overnights and/or weekends as needed
