Executive Producer, CNN Longform Series (Project Role)
Your New Role…
The Executive Producer for Longform Series is responsible for managing the production of longform series. The candidate must have superior knowledge and understanding of longform storytelling. Must be able to manage and support producers and associate producers and coordinate editing and delivery of finished content with the edit group.
This is a project-based role for 1 year
Your Role Accountabilities…
• The candidate must be a strong leader with writing skills and possess the ability to manage skilled teams of producers in support of the strategic vision as set by Sr. Management.
• The ideal candidate will possess a collaborative personality and work constructively with colleagues across CNN/US as well as those working in online, international, PR, sales, and marketing.
• The Long form Series Executive Producer must effectively handle problem-solving and must be able to attend editorial meetings.
• Other areas include being involved in editorial, operational, and managerial strategy.
Qualifications & Experience…
• 10+ years of editorial experience in longform storytelling with 3 or more years of leadership experience in network and/or cable television.
• A bachelor's degree in journalism or a related field of study is preferred, or equivalent experience
• This position requires a collaborative personality with an aptitude for working under pressure with diverse talent and staff.
• Must be able to work an extended schedule as the news cycle and deadlines require.

The Legal Bits…
In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. $206,500.00 - $383,500.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
