Your New Role...

At the heart of CNN's business shows are the top quality, news-making guests that appear on our flagship business shows: First Move and Quest Means Business. Every day we deliver in-depth, insightful and inspirational interviews with thought leaders, CEOs and more, that are making a difference and changing our lives.

We are looking for an Editorial Producer who will work with two stellar show teams and two top business anchors, Richard Quest & Julia Chatterley , to book the best guests available around the world. You will report to the Senior Editorial Producer and split your day working across both business shows.

Your Role Accountabilities...
• Generate ideas for smart and original guest interviews.
• Build and maintain strong relationships within various communities and with newsmakers, talent, and publicists and sources and to continually expand the network of bookings.
• Handle the pitches and logistics of getting them on air, including collaborating with a team of producers and storytellers.
• Research and write concise guest notes for our anchors.
• The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, breaking news environment and is capable of creating polished content, maintaining schedules and workflows, while meeting deadlines for on-budget work.

Qualifications & Experience...
• The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of news experience, preferably in booking or business.
• Business news experience is desirable but not essential - we can show you the business ropes, if you can wrangle in the best guests.
• A true individual, you know how to fit in while still standing out. You are a self-starter, able to manage your own workflow and schedule, while being offered close support and help from the rest of the CNN business unit.
• We will need you to come up with ideas for smart and original guest interviews, you will handle the pitches and the logistics of getting them on air.
• You will also be able to research and write concise guest notes for our anchor. Most of all, be ready to have lots of fun and grow with us!

The Legal Bits…
In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. $64,883.00 - $120,497.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
