At the heart of First Move are the top quality, decision-maker guests that appear on one of CNNI's shows, anchored by Julia Chatterley.

Every day we deliver in depth, insightful and inspirational interviews with thought leaders, CEOs and more that are making a difference and changing our lives.
On First Move every day is different, we follow both the news and simply what's hot. That means our guests range from business leaders, doctors or entrepreneurs finding ways to handle and fight Covid; top artists, celebrities and chefs making new products or fighting for good causes; politicians and Central Bank governors, right through to cryptocurrency investment gurus.

We cover the whole globe, and we need someone to bring us the best interviews with the best guests. One day you could be arranging an interview with a giant Asia tech unicorn, the next talking to a Michelin star Chef or skyping with the hottest DJ in Africa.

This person will be an essential part of the First Move team. We need someone who is calm under pressure, able to juggle different demands and priorities and communicate effectively with top executives, their teams, and the rest of the First Move production staff – often all at the same time!

Qualifications:
You have at least 2 years of news experience, preferably in booking or business but that's not essential. You should be a self-starter, able to manage your own workflow, while being offered close support and help from the rest of the CNN business unit. We will need you to come up with ideas for smart and original guest interviews, you will handle the pitches and the logistics of getting them on air. You will also be able to research and write concise guest notes for our anchor. Most of all be ready to have lots of fun and grow with us!
