Associate Producer

Job Description

The CNN International Associate Producer is responsible for duties including, but not limited to, preparing in-house video elements, pulling new material from various sources, and coordinating elements with CNN's various newsgathering and production centers. Duties will include work for news and business shows.
Your Role Accountabilities…
• Coordinating video needs for assigned shows and making sure packages, looklives, or any other media needs are ready for air
• Review incoming feeds to determine the newest and best material available and to communicate that information quickly and effectively to show teams.
• Serve as key production liaison, working closely with internal editing and post-production teams to ensure timely, high-quality video content for air.
• Have a full understanding of the editorial direction that the network is taking on a daily basis.
• Responsible for assisting the writing staff as well as helping produce live shots by coordinating video and graphic elements.
• Assisting with guest logistics in Los Angeles bureau, including setting up routers for pretaped segments.
• Clipping, writing headlines and pitching segments to digital platforms and posting to show and anchor social pages.
• Must be willing to work any shift including weekends and overnights

Qualifications & Experience…
• BA degree or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency using Adobe Premiere video editing software
• All applicants must have a passion for international news, basic news writing skills and the ​ability to work well under deadline pressure

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $46,898.00 - $87,096.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
