Responsibilities
OVERVIEW
The Reporter will provide daily and weekly news bulletins to CCTV in Chinese on international markets and news stories.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Daily hits for CCTV on the top international financial and business stories of the day
• Weekly hits for CCTV on featured business personnel of the week
• Produce news packages or feature stories for CCTV on ad-hoc basis
• Translate all CCTV hits and stories from Chinese to English
• Contribute to CNBC's digital video and digital articles
• Coordinate with CNBC's digital and social media teams to provide CCTV with CNBC's digital news packages on ad-hoc basis

Qualifications/Requirements
• Experience reporting live on-camera and on tape
• Fluency in both written and spoken Chinese and English languages is essential
• Very strong reporting and writing skills
• Knowledge of business and/or finance would be highly advantageous
• Capability to handle deadline pressure and work under the demands of a daily live show
• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced, demanding live news environment
• Computer literate, strong communication and organization skills
• Experience working for a leading wire service or business and financial news network desirable
• A clear understanding of CNBC's editorial and programming priorities
• A flexible attitude to working different shifts occasionally when required depending on business' needs, including weekends
• Relevant university degree required
• Experience with content management systems would be advantageous
