Responsibilities
CNBC Digital is looking to hire a talented reporter to further develop its health and wellness coverage under the NYC-based Make It brand. CNBC Make It is a fast-growing, consumer-friendly section of CNBC, devoted to aspirational content about success, money, work and life.

The Health and Wellness Reporter will be responsible for pitching and creating content around the Covid-19 pandemic and how it affects CNBC Make It's readership, as well as engaging content around health and wellness for productivity, work-life balance and entrepreneurs. The ideal candidate will have strong reporting skills and a knack for making complex subjects interesting and relatable.

What you'll do:
• Generate story ideas, report, write, and create digital content.
• Help grow the Make It brand and cultivate an engaged audience.
• Collaborate with the digital video team to create informative and highly engaging videos.
• Contribute to multi-platform news coverage when needed.
• Use social media to distribute and promote content.

Qualifications/Requirements
What you'll bring:

At least three years previous experience as a writer or reporter at a major publication
• The ability to perform and multi-task under pressure
• Previous experience on the health, wellness and productivity beat, including (but not limited to) health coverage of the Covid-19 pandemic
• Ability to be organized and detail-oriented
• Proven ability to report and write accurately and clearly in a fast-paced, deadline-driven news environment
• Must submit an attestation disclosing your COVID-19 vaccination status and, if partially or fully vaccinated, submitting your vaccination record no later than 7 days following commencement of employment.
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at the commencement of employment or must undergo regular COVID-19 testing if Company determines your job position requires accessing an NBCUniversal worksite.
• Must be willing to adhere to all Company COVID-19 workplace safety policies and protocols.
