Job Title: KinaTrax Operator and Technology Assistant

Reports To: Applied Biomechanist
FLSA: Hourly, Non-Exempt
Term: 2023 Major League Season
Job Purpose: The Cincinnati Reds are hiring individuals to operate KinaTrax at Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati, OH. Operator will be responsible for collecting KinaTrax data during each home game and other scheduled sessions. Operators may also assist with Applied Sports Science responsibilities as needed.

Positions are available in the following city:

Cincinnati, OH

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Be available to arrive at ballpark at least 2 hours before games and on an as needed basis for other Applied Sports Science opportunities.
• Operate KinaTrax system during all home games and other scheduled sessions.
• Process and upload KinaTrax data after each session.
• Assist with Applied Sports Science responsibilities before and after games as needed.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Advanced knowledge of baseball.
• Ability to identify pitch types.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to quickly learn and operate new technology.
• Ability to work independently and as a team.

Requirements:
• Available to work all home games and as needed for Applied Sports Science initiatives, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• High School diploma or GED.

• This is a seasonal opportunity, and no benefits or relocation will be provided.
• This seasonal position pays an hourly rate of $15/hour. The KinaTrax Operator can expect to work an average of approximately 20-25 hours per week.
