Job Title: Digital Video Producer
Department: Communications & Marketing
Reporting To: Sr. Director of Social Media & Content Strategy
FLSA: Hourly, Non-Exempt, Full Time

The Cincinnati Reds are seeking a talented video producer with experience creating content for social media, websites, and digital advertising. The Digital Video Producer will be responsible for producing compelling video content that increases the connection between our fans and the Reds. This person should have a very strong knowledge base of video production and technical skills including cinematic shooting, editing and motion graphics design, with a focus on storytelling. The Digital Video Producer will work as part of the Reds Social Media staff while also collaborating with the Creative, Communications and Productions departments.

Primary Responsibilities:

Film and edit highly polished cinematic digital content for Reds social media accounts, reds.com and digital advertising.
Conceptualize and produce video content about the Reds throughout the year.
Shoot and edit practice and game video, including delivering real-time content on game days.
Interview players, coaches, and broadcasters for storytelling elements.
Capture and edit video from theme nights, promotions, concerts, community events, sponsor activations and the Reds nonprofit organizations.
Provide photography coverage and editing when needed.
Work closely with the social media, creative, productions, and photography staff to maintain consistency in content being produced by the Cincinnati Reds.
Continually manage the organization and cataloguing of all social media video content
Constantly develop skills and explore new creative techniques.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Experience shooting and editing sports video highlights
Advanced skills in using Creative Adobe Suite including but not limited to Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator, Lightroom
Proficiency in sports photography
Ability to the take lead on projects, while effectively communicating progress to supervisor
Organized, flexible and high attention to detail
Creative, out-of-the-box thinker with a knowledge of pop culture and entertainment
Resourceful, quick decision maker with the ability to stay calm in stressful situations
Able to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Passion for social media and Reds baseball

Work Environment:
Work is performed in both an office environment as well as outdoors where the employee may be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time.
Hours will include nights, weekends, and holidays.
