CBS Pittsburgh KDKA-TV is looking for our next wordsmith. Someone that can write with impact and importance. Someone who understands the needs of the news as well as how to inform and entertain our audience. Do you like to edit what you write? Required:
• The ideal candidate must be an expert using powerful images and compelling sound to tell a story.
• Proven ability to write conversational, balanced copy that provides the appropriate depth and context
• Ability to react quickly to breaking news and weather
• Must be a great teammate who brings a positive attitude
• Must exhibit deep understanding of journalistic principals and ethics

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
• Degree in journalism or related field preferred
• At least 1 year of experience with non-linear editing is a must.
• Experience editing with Grass Valley Stratus NLE system a plus.
