CBS Philadelphia is hiring its next Vice President for KYW-TV and WPSG-TV the Paramount-owned duopoly. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate leader, a go-getter, curious about where we are and where we are going. You must be at the forefront of media trends and inspire a team to capture that same spirit. This position navigates the respect and appreciation of its legacy clients combined with the desire to generate new partnerships.

You will be responsible for leading all functions of the sales department, including the hiring and supervising of all sales department personnel. The VP, Sales will lead the team of managers, creating departmental objectives, and developing and implementing sales strategies and goals. In addition, inventory pricing and management, revenue forecasting, budget attainment and growth of market share, expense management, creation of financial reports for accounting and return on investment analysis for the accounting and programming departments. Identify economic and market trends, which impact sales targets and create strategies to maximize them. Create and implement new ways of marketing products, including the digital platforms, to increase revenue.

The ideal candidate will have prior major market sales management experience. A proven track record and history of successfully leading an entire sales team. A solid track record of developing new business and non-traditional revenue is a must. Extensive experience in digital sales is key. Sports sales experience also a plus. Finally, we want good humans. College degree or equivalent experience.

Qualifications
• A minimum of five years of broadcast sales & digital sales management, with major market experience and a demonstrated record of success
• Strong leadership qualities and interpersonal skills to inspire staff and manage external relationships
• Ability to use analytics to optimize inventory and create ad products
• Experienced in creating budgets and forecasting
• Working knowledge of broadcast traffic operations
• Digital sales experience or management
• College degree preferred
