Creative Services is looking for an experienced producer/manager that can handle the many needs of this evolving department. A true hands on utility player – one that can manage a creative team and has a working knowledge of both production and graphic design.
• Work closely with Director of Brand Strategy & Management in day to day of department projects.
• Managing creative process, to develop ideas that can help build a new promotional strategy.
• Communicating creative ideas to the station departments and CBS partners.
• Collaborate with the station's News team to effectively deliver promos.
• Implement and maintain organizational systems to help with department efficiencies.
• Handle the logs.
• Digital and social media marketing
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree in Radio/TV communications, production, or a related field (other relevant education will be considered).
• 8 or more years of experience as a writer/producer in a mid-to-major market station promotion department. (equivalent experience will be evaluated).
• Experience crafting promotional strategies across multiple platforms.
• Strong people management abilities to encourage and guide the team.
• Exceptional copy editing skills with an interest in mentoring producers.
• Strong collaboration skills with producers and news talent.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a talent for communicating innovative ideas.
• Prior experience working in transforming ratings and demo information into effective promotional strategies.
• A visionary problem solver with the ability to overcome challenges and deliver high-quality production results.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $130,000.00 - 140,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
