CBS News Philadelphia and WPSG-TV is looking for an experienced newscast producer. If you see yourself working well with a committed team that creates watchable and informative news shows that reflect the lives of people in our community, this could be your place to thrive and grow your career.
Our producers write and edit compelling teases and stories to create memorable on-air moments. Our goal is to produce shows that breathe while maintaining ratings-driven format times. Our producers are members of SAG-AFTRA. We are looking for a producer who is highly competitive and committed to a proactive approach to news coverage rather than a reactive approach. Qualifications:
• Excellent writing skills.
• High competence with non-linear editing systems, and experience with Avid I-News or similar system.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Minimum 3 years of experience.
• Ability to thrive in breaking news situations, both within and outside of regular newscasts
