KCNC-TV, the CBS owned and operated television station in Denver, is looking for a phenomenal, upbeat and innovative addition to our growing newsroom! The qualified candidate will assist producers in all aspects of crafting a newscast. Primary duties will include writing stories, creating graphics, and editing video.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and writing skills. This is the perfect fit for someone looking to develop and evolve as a journalist, specifically someone interested in a career as a news producer.

Requirements:
• Minimum two (2) years of experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Broadcast Journalism or related field preferred
• Proven organizational and interpersonal skills required

The successful candidate will be required to pass a background check prior to beginning employment.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $50,000.00 - 60,000.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
