PT ASSIGNMENT EDITOR
DESCRIPTION:
Compensation: ($16 - $20/hour) and eligibility for 401(k) Plan after completion of one year of employment with 1,000 hours of service in the 12 consecutive month period starting with the 1st day of employment, or failing that, in any subsequent calendar year.
KCNC-TV is seeking an experienced professional to work as an Assignment Editor. This position will manage news crews and assignments, deal with logistics, monitor phones, police scanners, and contribute story ideas. The Assignment Editor will review news releases and monitor local news sources.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required: Assignment Desk experience
Preferred: College degree is preferred but not required.
