Account Executive

Job Description

Overview & Responsiblities:
• We are searching for an upbeat and very motivated multi-platform sales professional
• Candidate must possess strong presentation and communication skills, experience working with top Los Angeles and San Francisco advertising agencies, growing market share, and closing new business and digital
• Sell television time and digital/streaming for KOVR and KMAX and all digital platforms including CBS13.com, GoodDaySacramento.com and CBSN Sacramento (24/7 Streaming News)
• Sell across 14 CBS Television Stations group owned & operated markets (multi-market selling)
• Achieve monthly/quarterly sales goals
• Build, develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients
• Effectively research and cultivate new business clientele
• Experience selling high-profile sports sponsorships and integrations

Basic Qualifications
• Persuasiveness, sales ability, results-oriented, passionate about the client experience, ability to demonstrate leadership and team values
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Consistent track record of success
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Experience in media (5+ years) preferred, including at least 2 years of broadcast sales

Additional Qualifications:
• Previous media/sponsorship sales experience, including promotions
• A passion for Sports (Football, Baseball, Basketball)
• Experienced in Wide Orbit, Strata and Salesforce applications
