Production Coordinator

DESCRIPTION:

CBS News is looking for a Freelance Production Coordinator:

Responsibilities:
-Assist production teams, correspondents, Broadcast Manager, and Operations Manager with domestic and international logistics
-Assist post-production teams with asset management (virtual and physical platforms), uploading, transcoding
-Maintain asset inventory & tracking - locations of drives, camera cards, and production equipment.
-Maintain communication with the Paramount+ team providing schedule updates and changes
-Learn ViacomCBS content security compliance requirements and assist teams in maintaining standards
-Maintain both Post and Production calendars
-Work with production teams to compile and deliver all required elements for Paramount+ i.e. Episode metadata, stills, promo clips, closed captioning
-Manage closed captioning schedules
-Track all final story scripts

QUALIFICATIONS:

Skill Requirements:

Basic knowledge in post-production processes, scheduling, and deliverables.

Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills

Independent and forward thinker.

Ability to anticipate potential snags, great at troubleshooting, and solutions-oriented.

Ability to simultaneously track multiple projects

Basic working knowledge of video/audio file formats and codecs

Digital fluency

MS Office

Excellent written communication
