DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities
• A visionary who will develop a strategy that will take CBS News Newspath to the next level with new customers and new digital enterprises.
• Will work with Senior Management, including head of Affiliate Services, on a strategy that will harvest new business necessary to the success of the Unit.
• Strong focus on emerging business both domestic and international.
• New digital customers
• Develop strategies to improve traditional revenue opportunities as well as identify new revenue streams
• Work with Business Affairs to build presentations, executing contracts and determine estimates of return on investment on new business
• Deliver presentations to Unit/Division Senior Management and maintaining a close relationship with ViacomCBS Corporate sales executives in negotiating and closing major deals when needed.
• Work cooperatively and in partnership with CBS News broadcasts/departments to ensure growth in revenue and increased profitability through all channels.
• Recruit, hire, manage and retain sales talent to build a future pipeline.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Large accounts experience.
• Minimum 8 years' experience in a broadcast, digital sales and marketing.
• Strategic planning and direct responsibility for growing revenue in the television and or digital sales industry.
• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing.
• Driven with a positive attitude with a proven track record of sales/new business achievements.
• The ability to be a strong leader.
• Experience with and an understanding of the digital/new media world.
• Thorough understanding of news, current events, large and small markets throughout the United States and internationally.
• Must be able to travel as needed.
