Division Overview:

The social team is responsible for developing and producing compelling narratives-as told through video, editorial, and social platforms-that promote programming for CBS primetime scripted series. Regardless of the medium, our team optimizes the best of CBSi's content to drive fan acquisition, engagement, and retention by leveraging data analytics, analyzing the competitive landscape, and recognizing opportunities for innovation in this always-on world.

Role Details:
Our team is looking for a Social Media Coordinator that will support Social Producers and Sr. Social Producers in the execution of their social strategies and plans for CBS Primetime Scripted Series. The ideal candidate also thrives in a creative, collaborative, and results-oriented environment.

Your Day-to-Day:
• Support development of social content calendars including writing copy and daily publishing across social media platforms
• Assist in asset development and track due dates to support social rollout calendars
• Assist with community management across social channels - actively engage and respond to followers and brainstorm ways to increase social conversation
• Monitor mentions, identify social buzz and help ideate content that will support key social KPIs
• Perform data tagging on all posts to support social BI efforts
• QA posts to make sure they have been published accurately
• Work with social producers and creative team members to brainstorm and develop strategies and tactics in support of CBS Primetime Scripted programming
• Assist in gathering analytics on social media posts
• Conduct competitive research assignments as needed
• Additional other duties and responsibilities, as assigned

Key Projects:
• TikTok content development
• Launch new series and premiere returning series
• Attend and support TV Events like Upfronts, TCAs and PaleyFest
• Find and experiment with new platforms and social innovations for marketing TV shows


What you bring to the team:

You have -
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field
• 2+ years of experience working in social media
• Must be able to demonstrate a strong knowledge base of social media platforms
• Strong copywriting skills
• Experience building social media assets like gifs and polls
• Basic photo and video editing experience
• Experience working in the entertainment industry or at an agency
• Flexible hours including some evenings and weekends

You might also have -
• Passionate and knowledgeable about CBS dramas and the pop culture landscape
• Basic knowledge of image manipulation tools like Photoshop and Illustrator
• Experience covering live events in a social media capacity including live-tweeting
• A keen eye for visual storytelling through photo and video
