Division Overview:
Our Distribution & Operations team works on expanding distribution of our best-in-class CBS content across multiple types of digital partnerships and business models, including (but not limited to) transactional, ad-supported streaming, subscription video on demand (with CBS All Access), and digital OTT products and partnerships. We are a diverse and agile team that works in an exciting and fast-paced environment, working cross-functionally across different departments and partnering with multiple technology/distribution partners to ensure that we bring CBS content to consumers, however and wherever they want to consume content.

Role Details:

The Partnership Manager will play a critical role overseeing dynamic business operations and partnership management of our digital SVOD partners. In this role, the Partnership Manager will support partner launches, drive operational efficiency with Distribution & Operations team and key stakeholders, troubleshoot partner queries, and support strategic initiatives to drive growth and revenue. The Partnership Manager is expected to lead and contribute to a varying range of projects, managing relationships with cross-functional teams both externally and internally. We are seeking a nimble self-starter who is passionate about both television entertainment and technology to join the team.

Your Day-to-Day:
• Support the launches and lead the ongoing management of SVOD products across distributor partner platforms
• Maintain direct and active relationships with our digital partners, including proactively resolving business and technical issues and serving as an internal advocate
• Support the video operations team with prioritization of the delivery of appropriate digital assets to each partner
• Develop and iterate on operational specs and documentation based upon changing processes
• Work cross-functionally with content teams, video operations, and other internal teams to help partners launch our steady flow of content
• Conduct regular product audits across various platforms for consistency
• Conduct daily tracking and communication of competitive developments
• Collect and gather industry research to develop business insights and recommendations to support the business strategy and operational decision making
• Identify market trends, research reports and frequent business analyses for special projects

Key Projects:
• Drive processes and find efficiency to help scale operations to support growing digital business
• Partner closely with digital partners to expand the ViacomCBS footprint and help expand distribution of premium ViacomCBS content across multiple services and platforms both domestically and internationally

QUALIFICATIONS:

What you bring to the team:

You have -
• 5 years operations experience within a media, digital MVPD, OTT, or SVOD company with an emphasis on project management and/or post-production
• Strong collaboration and relationship-building experience, with experience developing working relationships at all levels of management, both internal and external
• Demonstrated strong emotional intelligence with the ability to work cross functionally with various and diverse teams both internally and externally
• A strong understanding of the digital linear streaming, SVOD, VOD space with experience in partner delivery operations
• Strong proficiency in MS office applications, especially Excel
• Experience with content tracking and content management tools
• Strong communication and organizational skills - verbal, written, and presentation
• Exceptional work ethic with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team, act proactively and drive resolution
• Master at troubleshooting and rapid root cause analysis
• Ideal candidate will be upbeat, focused, self-motivated and results-oriented with an entrepreneurial spirit who works well under pressure, escalates when needed, and quickly adapt to change in a fast-paced work environment
• Passion for TV, film, and other video content

• Experience with scripting and database creation is a plus
• Experience with international digital distribution is a major plus
