Division Overview:
Our Distribution & Operations team works on expanding distribution of our best-in-class CBS content across multiple types of digital partnerships and business models, including (but not limited to) transactional, ad-supported streaming, subscription video on demand (with CBS All Access), and digital OTT products and partnerships. We are a diverse and agile team that works in an exciting and fast-paced environment, working cross-functionally across different departments and partnering with multiple technology/distribution partners to ensure that we bring CBS content to consumers, however and wherever they want to consume content.

Role Details:

The Marketing Operations Manager will play a key role as a foundational member of our growing business operations function, working to track and launch strategic marketing campaigns and promotions across our subscription service CBS All Access and other high profile, distribution partners. In this role, the Marketing Operations Manager will be closely involved in both the planning and execution of strategic marketing campaigns for our CBS All Access content, and will help drive operational efficiency, address campaign issues, spearhead communication around these campaigns, and work closely with the Director, Partnership Operations and other key team members to streamline marketing operations and processes that help raise awareness of our content, drive subscription growth and revenue. The Marketing Operations Manager is expected to lead all aspects of our marketing campaign pipeline; will measure, and track the success of these campaigns, and will be expected to interact and manage relationships with cross-functional teams both externally and internally.

Your Day-to-Day:
• Track, and launch all marketing-related strategic promotions on CBS All Access and our highly visible digital OTT partners
• Partner with stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues / roadblocks against campaigns
• Support the video operations team with prioritization and implementation of these campaigns
• Develop and iterate on marketing operational specs and documentation based upon changing processes
• Work cross-functionally with content teams, video operations, and other internal teams to help execute marketing campaigns
• Partner with marketing and data teams to track campaign performance and effectiveness; conduct strategic analyses to support future campaigns
• Conduct daily tracking and communication of competitive developments
• Collect and gather industry research to develop business insights and recommendations to support the business' marketing strategy and operational decision making
• Identify market trends, research reports and frequent business analyses for special projects

Key Projects:
• Drive processes and find efficiency to help scale marketing operations to support growing digital OTT business
• Partner closely with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure we are aligned on all planned marketing beats

QUALIFICATIONS:

What you bring to the team:

You have -
• 3+ years of previous experience in a client/external facing partner marketing operations role within a media company or digital MVPD(s) or OTT SVOD service(s), and relevant marketing or interactive roles
• Strong planning and project management skills
• Proven ability to collect, analyze, and present data
• Demonstrated strong EQ with the ability to work cross functionally with various and diverse teams both internally and externally
• A demonstrated strong understanding of the digital linear streaming, SVOD, AVOD and VOD space
• Strong proficiency in MS office applications, especially PowerPoint and Excel
• Strong communication and organization skills - verbal, written, and presentation
• Exceptional work ethic with ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team, act proactively and drive resolution
• Ideal candidate will be self-motivated and results-oriented with an entrepreneurial spirit who will be able to work well under pressure, escalate when needed, and quickly adapt to change in a fast-paced work environment
• High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
