We are actively seeking to add a new teammate, the DIRECTOR, DEI & EMPLOYEE LEARNING, to the ViacomCBS Learning Team. We are part of the People Development group, which also includes Talent Management and Engagement.

You have the ingenuity to design novel content and the presentation skills to deliver interactive, compelling and engaging experiences. Check out the meaningful ways you'll be able to contribute:

Day-to-day:
• Design, develop and facilitate inclusive and other interpersonal skills, programs and experiences for employees and teams at different levels, from junior to executive; evaluate the efficacy and iterate as needed
• Frequency of facilitation will average 1-2 days/week with 1-2-hour modules, including standalone people manager skills modules
• Collaborate with HR business partners (HRBPs) and business leaders to identify performance gaps and build programs / other interventions that accelerate employee and team success
• Develop innovative programs (ex. Social media influencer campaigns, learning communities) to spotlight our culture and help spread standard methodologies across the organization and beyond

Key projects:

Within the first year you will have dramatically changed the learning culture at ViacomCBS by delivering on the following high-impact projects:
• Own the design and delivery of a menu of inclusion & interpersonal skills programs that help employees be their best selves at work and in life. Capitalize on your creativity to test novel approaches to reinforce learning, revisit content and emphasize lasting behavior change
• Mentor employees in application of new skills, including techniques to build new habits and spread ideas to others
• Work with teams in an action-learning capacity to implement new skills and processes; apply change management techniques to help teams institutionalize changes
• Join the rest of your Learning teammates to conceive of and deliver a company-wide learning week in 2022

Basic Qualifications:
• Master's degree (or equivalent experience) in Learning and Development, Organization Development or Human Resources
• Minimum 5 years of Learning and Development or related experience (ex. Training with adult learners in a corporate or similar environment; facilitation of change management or organizational development initiatives)
• Strong facilitation skills – you're able to deftly respond to questions, manage disruptions and move a group through course content while balancing inclusion and timing; you can weave in related content to make connections for learners and adjust or pivot when needed
• Strong presentation skills – you convey ideas clearly and succinctly, highlight key takeaways and translate impact; you have strong presence, can quickly build rapport with others, and are comfortable in front of audiences of varying sizes
• You have an approach that is flexible, inventive, and agile and can adapt to changes and shifting priorities to meet organizational needs

Additional Qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years of instructional design experience focused on building innovative and problem solving courses and programs that support behavioral change
• Big picture thinking with strong process orientation
• Strong organization skills and project management acumen, with an eye for detail-orientation

• Trend-spotter who's passionate about staying current in the learning and development space
• Previous experience working in a tech (or media) business
