Job Description

The Account Manager, Local will be responsible for supporting business development efforts, inventory requests, and media plan creation! You will work with a designated sales team to ensure detailed campaign planning as well as provide efficient client service support for assigned advertisers and agencies. The Account Manager will serve client inquiries as well as requests pertaining to their digital programs, which includes: preparing proposals and client presentations and providing clients with pricing and inventory availability. The Account Manager will possess strong client service and interpersonal skills as well as a desire to support digital business development efforts!

Your Day-to-Day:

Partner with sales to build client relationships while helping the Digital Sales team upsell and renew business. Work with marketing, pricing and sales to build thoughtful media plans and proposals; facilitate any additional media plan needs internally. Manage collection of creative assets, tracking and ad verification from clients / agency contacts and coordinate with Ops. Project Manage and coordinate with internal teams necessary elements for campaign execution. Work with Ops and Campaign Strategists to monitor and optimize campaigns. Conduct revenue reconciliation on a monthly/quarterly basis with Finance team. Develop client research/deck development to promote new business development and growth. Utilize Salesforce to build campaign management cases and to review customer information. Ensure continuity and success across pre-sale activities - be responsible for the entire deal flow & manage its success. Partner with Sales Associates/Digital Specialists to communicate additional client needs as necessary throughout the campaign process.

What you bring to the team:

Sales professional with an entrepreneurial spirit who thrives in a team, goal oriented environment. 2-3 years proven digital advertising experience. Have a strong desire to win and grow as a digital ad sales professional. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to manage stress well, and prioritize multiple account challenges at once. BS/BA degree, or equivalent training and experience. Must be very detail oriented. Fluent in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. You might also have experience working with Salesforce and/or experience building and booking media plans.
