Account Executive
Department: Advertising Sales
Location: Chicago, IL
Role Details:
This position is responsible for maintaining, building, and exceeding advertising revenue goals for the ViacomCBS digital portfolio! Successful candidates will also demonstrate an ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment to achieve results, despite obstacles!
Your Day-to-Day:
You will set and own territory sales agendas including the following:
• Develop account and territory strategies for long-term development and revenue growth
• Generate new sales leads
• Act as a business specialist on behalf of your clients - strategically developing digital and mixed media solutions to suit their objective
• Establish and cultivate relationships with clients by conducting a high volume of face-to-face calls
• Prioritize and lead to ensure account management both internally and externally
• Collaborate with centers of excellence to develop strategic roadmaps and generate revenue across the portfolio
• Establish oneself as an inspiring leader within the digital community and evangelize ViacomCBS' unique positioning within the marketplace
What you bring to the team:
• Sales professional with an entrepreneurial spirit who thrives in a team, goal-oriented environment
• 3+ years digital advertising sales experience
• Have a strong desire to win and grow as digital ad sales professional
• Exemplary communication and organizational skills
• Well-developed presentation skills
• Ability to prioritize and balance multiple business needs at once
• BS/BA degree, or equivalent training and experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite, G Suite and Salesforce
