Job Description

CBS4 has an exciting opportunity for a Morning News Anchor / Noon Reporter. In addition to being an outstanding journalist with a great personality, you need to be a team leader. Our anchors are leaders who participate in the planning of our shows and produce content regularly. In this role you will also report for our noon show daily. You will need to enterprise story ideas and deliver solid live shots from the field. A competitive passion to win and openness to innovation is mandatory! Our winning candidate will be someone who embraces social media and knows how to consistently engage with the audience. Collaboration is a big part of this role!

Skills and Experience:
• Strong leadership skills
• Smooth, energetic and engaging delivery
• A self-starter and who can generate their own story ideas on a daily basis
• Ability to demonstrate enterprise reporting and creativity in storytelling
• Exemplary communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to maintain an active social media presence to build your brand and solicit original story ideas

Requirements and Qualifications:
• Previous anchoring and reporting experience is required
• Must have at least 2 years of on-air experience
• Live shot experience is required
• Previous experience working in a team environment is a must
