Job Description
CBS 17, the Nexstar station in Raleigh, is looking for a personable and energetic Weekend Morning Anchor/Reporter for our two-hour Saturday AM News and three-hour Sunday AM News. Must be able to deliver news with authority and handle Breaking News without a script. Candidates must be passionate about great storytelling and accountability journalism. Must be a strong writer, willing to dig deeper and ask tough questions. All of our reporters are expected to work beats to build sources and generate exclusive story ideas. Must be aggressive on digital and social media. Candidates must have a college degree and at least three years reporting and regular anchor experience at a network affiliate.
