Sports Anchor/Multimedia Journalist (MMJ)

CBS 14/FOX 44 is looking for a Weekend Sports Anchor/ Multi-Media Journalist. In addition to being an outstanding journalist with a great personality, you need to be a team leader and hyper-organized. Our Sports Anchor is a leader who participates in the planning of our shows and produces content regularly. A competitive passion to win and openness to innovation is mandatory! Our winning candidate will be someone who embraces social media and knows how to consistently engage with the audience. Collaboration is a big part of this role!

This position will report 2-3 days during the week in news. Your responsibilities as an MMJ will include reporting, shooting and editing news stories, enterprising story ideas, developing contacts, as well as other responsibilities as assigned. You will be expected to produce daily content on a variety of platforms including the internet, social networking sites and mobile phones, in addition to television.

Skills and Experience:
• Sharp news judgment
• Smooth/pleasant delivery
• Strong writing skills, storytelling skills and news judgment
• Excellent technical skills
• The ability to work well independently
• Must have and maintain a valid license and a good driving record

Requirements and Qualifications:
• A minimum of 1-year experience is preferred
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
• Shoot and operate video camera equipment in the field
• Experience with Live-U is a plus
• Experience with AVID is a plus
