Manager, Promo and Media Planning - Podcast Marketing (Cadence13 and Pineapple Street Studios)
Overview

Cadence13 and Pineapple Street Studios (PSS) is seeking a Manager of Promo and Media Planning, to join our marketing team, reporting to the Head of Marketing, Podcasts (Cadence13 and Pineapple Street Studios). You will be responsible for managing all internal promo and paid media campaigns.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of direct experience in media planning and buying across digital, social, audio and traditional media. Must be comfortable working in a fast paced environment. Most importantly, must be a self starter, solutions oriented and an enthusiastic consumer of podcasts.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:
• Manage and schedule cross promo in our internal podcast promo system which includes developing strategic plans that achieve campaign goals and objectives.
• Partner with Marketing, Operations and Strategy teams to ensure delivery of quarterly and annual marketing commitments.
• Collaborate with Marketing Directors, and Sales on the success of our show launches and ongoing show promotion.
• Support Marketing Directors to develop mid and post performance recaps upon completion of the campaign.
• Manage the paid media for show launches, always-on shows and partner show maintenance from strategy and planning to activation and optimization to recap.
• Oversee external media agencies in the development of media plans.
• Work closely with internal and external Data/Analytics teams to create/evolve media analysis tools to guide the strategy and planning and monitor the effectiveness of our campaigns to ensure we are tracking to goal.

Qualifications

More About You:

Required & Preferred:
• 5+ years of experience in a media planning role, with exceptional knowledge in entertainment content and audio buying.
• Proven track record and understanding of media planning, buying, activation and analytics
• Strong critical thinking skills and an ability to make informed decisions based on data and business goals
• Passion for podcasts and entertainment content
• Knowledge of and experience in new and emerging media platforms
• Strong verbal, presentation and writing abilities
