Role and Responsibilities:
Influence and support the overall roadmap for the CAA SAP Digital Transformation Project and portfolio with a focus on the finance business processes. Possess deep expertise in SAP, particularly within finance modules (FI/CO), and will be responsible for aligning Tech and financial systems with business needs to drive efficiency and business transformation. Solution architect expansion of SAP to CAA entities globally. Be a thought leader in driving requirements and designing solutions that will scale globally for different CAA businesses and help finance adopt best practices. Act as a trusted advisor to CAA process owners and operations to ensure alignment with business drivers and integrate these requirements into the strategy as it is developed. Help manage finance systems related programs and projects, including all project phases/tasks as applicable to finance systems implementations. Coordinate with your Tech colleagues and other product managers responsible for integration with SAP and other supporting teams involved in multi-disciplinary efforts. Manage assigned project resources as needed. Provide guidance and leadership during the detailed design, build, test, and deploy phases.
Possess expertise that will play a critical role in driving our SAP digital transformation efforts and ensuring that our financial processes and reporting are optimized and future-proofed. Control and manage production system issues: triage issues; conduct detailed impact analysis, root cause analysis, and downstream effects of modifications. Encourage, assist, mentor and foster development of co-worker's SAP skills and proficiency. This hybrid role is based in our Los Angeles office and requires 3 days a week onsite.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
• 10+ years' progressive experience in application design, configuration and functional documentation in SAP S/4 HANA with a focus on Finance modules
• 5+ years' leadership and people management experience
• 5+ years' experience driving process improvement with finance and accounting departments
• Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work consistently and efficiently to achieve overall team as well as personal goals
• Excellent ability to multi-task and manage simultaneous projects and initiatives
• Strong planning, organization, critical thinking, decision-making skills, and problem-solving aptitude.
• Experience with large-scale SAP implementations in an international enterprise environment and a strong record of accomplishment of delivering complex projects across multiple departments.
• Working knowledge of SQL query tools and Microsoft Suite of tools a plus
• Experience in SAP S/4 HANA Public Cloud a plus
• Familiarity with SAP Fiori, SAP Analytics Cloud and other SAP technologies a plus
• Experience in Finance and Accounting departments a plus
• Hands on experience with Agile as a Product Manager and/or Scrum Manager a plus
Location:
This role will be based in our Los Angeles, CA office, Monday – Friday; hybrid.
Compensation:
The annual base salary for this position is in the range of $171,000 - $186,000. This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus. Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
