The Department
The Golf group specializes in helping corporations leverage the power and reach of golf through sponsorship and brand activation, primarily through events, VIP hospitality, players and media relationships. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious professional to grow within a team.
The Role
The Account Manager will have direct client relationships and support both event and sponsorship activation programs across the client's robust sponsorship portfolio including their Title Sponsorship and Official Marketing Partnership with the LPGA Tour, PGA TOUR and LPGA Tour Ambassador roster, events/hospitality, DE&I initiatives and more. The role will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day account team across various event activations, budgeting and accounting, reporting, and traveling for several events.
Responsibilities
• Yearlong planning for client's title sponsorship
• Serve in various roles for client ambassador outings, including pre-event and post-event event collateral process, on-site support, and post-event recapping as necessary
• Provide counsel for internal accounting and invoicing
• Advise on event signage, branding, media advertising and all branding; Works closely with in-house creative on all elements
• Serve as liaison with the vendors, partners and venues on behalf of client; negotiate contracts and event specific details including event spaces, golf courses, etc.
• Manage hospitality and guest programs i.e., book travel, gifting, plan evening functions
• Serve in hospitality / client facing role at events
• Provide and summarize data in support of analytics reporting; work closely with internal analytics team
• Travel required
Qualifications
• 3+ years' experience in direct client facing hospitality/events/marketing
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration , Marketing or relevant discipline, or equivalent experience
• Direct client servicing experience and strong relationships building skills
• Strong negotiating skills with vendors/partners
• High level organization skills and document creation abilities
• Analytical with creative problem-solving abilities
• Proactive approach
• Support and service mentality
• Experience in the golf industry preferred
Location
This role is based out of the Jacksonville, FL office and is required
onsite Monday - Friday.
Compensation
The annual base salary for this position is in the range of $50,000-$ 65,000.This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus . Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
