OVERVIEW

CAA's Product Development team is looking for our next Senior Platform Engineer. This person will have a passion for technology. Join us and be a part of building next-generation mobile and web applications to drive the diverse, global, and fast-paced entertainment culture of our Agents, Executives, Artists, and Business Partners.
Overall, this engineer will deliver across a number of complex and varied technology projects requiring continual innovation and collaboration with key stakeholders to provide global solutions that meet all business and stakeholder requirements.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
• Technical delivery across a number of applications, cloud-based platforms underpinning the company's bespoke line of business and corporate applications outside of North America.
• Build relationships across the various technology and business teams to share platform strategy and solutions in line with business needs and objectives.
• Execute global CAA Technology strategy and fiscal year budgetary plans.
• Continually enhance, design, architect, operate, secure and support CAA's application and platform environments to the company's demanding service level agreements, standards and operating practices.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

The role is right for you if:
• You understand the intricacies of API, Microservices, Application Platform and Database Management, and Project and Release Management.
• You have a thorough understanding of DevOps and DevSecOps.
• You are experienced with Scaled Agile / SAFe methodology.
• You are comfortable with monitoring and security solutions deployments.
• You understand cloud migration design, deployments, and automation.
• You enjoy test-driven development and believe testing is integral to developing high-quality code.
• You understand the intricacies of JavaScript and Node.js, for both front-end apps and back-end services.
• You have 5+ years coding experience preferably in JavaScript, HTML, or CSS.
• You have 5+ years of industry experience with Cloud technologies.
• You have 5+ years of experience with orchestration, hypervisor and virtualisation solutions such as Kubernetes, Docker Enterprise and VMWare.
• You are comfortable working in an agile environment using SCRUM or Kanban.
• You have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
• You operate effectively as part of a team and autonomously.

• Passion for building high-impact, well-performing user experiences.
• Experience building single-page applications in JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience with GitHub, React, Azure SQL, MongoDB and testing frameworks.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills working cross-functionally with other engineers, product managers, and stakeholders.
• Entertainment or Sports industry experience preferred but not essential.
• Experience participating in cross-functional projects by reviewing project requirements; translating requirements into technical solutions; gathering requested information; orchestrating of writing and developing code; conducting unit testing; communicating status and issues to team members and stakeholders; collaborating with cross functional teams; troubleshooting open issues and bug-fixes; enhancing design to prevent re-occurrences of defects; ensuring on-time delivery.
